So you are going to writing the Registered Nursing School Aptitude Examination (RNSAE). You are searching around to see what this test is like, what it covers, and how hard it is.

You take a look at the RNSAE website, and you find these practice questions. You look through them. Not too hard. So you think to yourself, this is going to be a breeze. I will get a good mark, get into my school, and that’s the end of it.

That is the biggest mistake people make when looking into the RNSAE. Being overly confident that they will do well, and therefore not studying and preparing. It is true that the material covered on the RNSAE is high school level, and not that difficult in and of itself. But that does not mean that you should be complacent going into this exam.

There are a number of things that make the RNSAE difficult. Chief among them is the fact that it is a timed test, which gives you very little time to move through all of the 200 or so questions. Also, no calculators are allowed on the RNSAE, so all math calculations must be done mentally or by hand. This can eat up a lot of time, and prevent you from giving proper attention to the rest of the exam.

Don’t be complacent. It is well worth your time to study and prepare properly for the RNSAE. Check out the TEST PREP HACKER RNSAE Study Guide and RNSAE practice tests to help you prepare.
